The manufacture attended the 74th Goodwood Members’ Meeting, presenting three special edition models in the Ingenieur collection that reflect the glamor of classic motorsports. These are the Ingenieur Chronograph Edition “74th Members” Meeting at Goodwood, which will be released in a limited edition of 74 pieces, the Ingenieur Chronograph Edition “Rudolf Caracciola” and the Ingenieur Chronograph Edition “W 125”, which will be released in a limited edition of 750 pieces each. The watches, beyond their vintage appearance, also present great technical interest as they are equipped with a brand new in-house self-winding movement. It is the Caliber 69370, and, as the head of IWC’s In-House Movement Development Thomas Gäumann explains, it is the first of the 69000-family movements to be constructed. It consists of 200 parts, bearing 33 jewels and a 46-hour power reserve, while its functions include hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds, a chronograph function with a column-wheel and date indication.
