This year, the manufacture will be celebrating the 40th birthday of its legendary Heuer Monza, with an upgraded version of the historic model. As with the original, it features a black coussin-shaped case, white and black lacquered hands, a pulsometer and tachometer scale as well as the historic “Heuer” logo at 12. This time, however, the case has been enlarged from 39mm to 42mm and is now made of titanium, which makes it lighter and much more resistant to shocks. Within it beats the TAG Heuer Caliber 17, with functions including hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds, date indication and chronograph function. It is available with a perforated strap inspired by 1970’s racing-car steering wheels.
